Some important tips before cooking the bowls of Abrantes.
Place the sliding tray in the middle of the oven (electric or gas).
Distribute the clay pans over the tray and turn on the oven at a high temperature (if possible 250 degrees), when the oven is very hot take the tray out carefully, quickly fill the pans and put them back in the oven letting them cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
When finally removing the shapes from the oven, if they are still hot should not be placed on top of cold surfaces such as marble, granite or stainless steel, since they can break due to thermal shock, the ideal is to use a wooden or cork base.

Clay bowl shapes should not be washed in running water, to clean use only a well-twisted wet cloth.
