SOME IMPORTANT CARE TO BE TAKEN WITH THE CROCKERY:
Food must be cooked exclusively in the oven (electric, gas or wood) and the utensil in question (baking pan, pan, etc.) must be placed in the middle of the oven on top of a grill and never placed at the base of the oven. When placing a piece of clay in the kiln, it must not be too hot, the heating process must take place gradually so that thermal shock does not occur. Likewise, when taking the same piece out of the oven, it cannot be placed on a cold surface (granite, marble or stainless steel). Always place it on wooden, cork or fabric supports.
You can use it in the microwave.
To wash by hand, use hot water and normal detergent, and do not use metal scourers or abrasive sponges, if you wish, you can also use the washing machine.
When storing your earthenware utensils in a cupboard, make sure they are completely dry, otherwise and if you haven't used them for some time, they are likely to get moldy. This process is perfectly normal and has to do with the high porosity of clay which absorbs moisture.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CLAY CASSEROLE HAS TWO SIDE HANDLES THAT INCREASE ITS RELATIVE DIAMETER AS YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE ABOVE BY 2 CENTIMETERS.
