Prato de Barro para Vaso Nº11
The traditional Portuguese Pottery has a long history because already before the foundation of Portugal the peoples of the Iberian Peninsula transformed the clay into household items, objects of adornment or pieces of worship. Over the years there has been a natural evolution of this activity which made possible the discovery of the potter's wheel, it is almost magical how through a piece of clay placed on top of the wheel the Portuguese potters create timeless pieces, revealing a dexterity of odd hands. At the Feira da Louça you can find a wide range of products resulting from the art of transforming clay.
